We've made some much-requested changes to our Q Book range: • We've added two extra sizes, A4 and A3. A3 and A4 are standard paper sizes in much of the world, but for those who aren't familiar they equate to approximately* 12x8" and 16x12" respectively (30x21 and 42x30cm). • You can now order both Q Book Lights and Mediums in the large A3 and 15x12 sizes. Although they are fairly similar we will run both sizes side by side for the time being. Designing Q Books The new A4 and A3 books do look great, and they're easy to design with the To View More >>

Last year we introduced The Queensberry Press, our first toe-dip into the brave new world of digital offset-printing. Everyone, from our designers to our developers immediately started working hard on v2.0 - starting with a hard look at what you had to say about the first release! We do reserve the right to cancel inactive accounts (where there have been no new uploads or sales for twelve months). Please read the details on our website. So why the change of mind? One thing concerned us when we launched Workspace. To View More >>

I was talking to Simon, one of our album layout designers, about how the team were finding the new Workspace album proofing feature. They've been using it with photographers for a few months now and I was keen to get his feedback. What follows is pretty much his response verbatim. "It's working brilliantly! We get to review the studio’s comments alongside the relevant layouts. It’s accurate and clear to follow. "Not having to interpret requests for edits in emails is a real bonus. The integrated communication between the studio, bride and groom, and designer keeps everybody in the loop, and To View More >>
Many years ago I headed to an up-market department store to buy a gift. When I asked the person behind the counter to show me what I wanted, she replied, “It’s expensive you know”. Was she suggesting that I couldn’t afford it, or was she reflecting on her own economic situation? She should have known better. Her job was to show me the product, work with my enthusiasm and make the business she worked for better off. As a business person I’ve reflected on this incident often. I’m always reminded of it at trade shows when people look at our albums and say things like, “They're so beautiful, To View More >>
